Job Description
The consultant will support the Project Management Office (PMO) for an SAP program involving teams in the US and Japan. As the PMO for the SAP project, the main focus is task management, status reporting, and coordination across stakeholders, with moderate interpretation support between Japanese and US team members.

Job Description
The consultant will support the Project Management Office (PMO) for an SAP program involving teams in the US and Japan. As the PMO for the SAP project, the main focus is task management, status reporting, and coordination across stakeholders, with moderate interpretation support between Japanese and US team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Track project tasks, deadlines, and action items, and follow up with owners until closure.
- Prepare and maintain regular status reports for project leadership.
- Organize and support project meetings, including agendas, meeting minutes, and follow-up communication.
- Coordinate with the client, the Japan team, and other stakeholders to keep work aligned across time zones.
- Provide interpretation during meetings and discussions between Japanese and US teams (moderate volume).
- Help maintain project documentation such as trackers, issue logs, and meeting records.
Qualifications
- SAP functional or technical knowledge, enough to follow project discussions and understand task dependencies. This may be waived for candidates with strong Japanese speaking skills.
- Experience in project coordination, PMO support, or a similar role on IT or ERP projects.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Able to work onsite in Ohio
- Comfortable working a steady part-time schedule of about 20 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications
- Business-level Japanese speaking skills, with experience interpreting in meetings.
- Experience working with Japanese companies or Japan-based teams.
- Familiarity with SAP project phases, such as blueprinting, testing, and cutover.
